In the funny video, podcast host Viraj Ghelani triggers Hardik Pandya’s anger by continuously insulting him and not letting him speak until he transforms into Venom.

Hardik Pandya has often impressed fans with his cricket skills but this time he has fans talking about his acting. A fun video features the cricketer channeling his inner venom after getting furious at his interviewer, popular Youtuber Viraj Ghelani. The video is aimed to announce the release date of the upcoming anti-hero adventure Venom, The Last Dance.

The video was shared by Hardik Pandya under the caption, “I AM NOT OK. The Last Dance releasing in cinemas on 24th October. Book your tickets now! https://venomthemovie.in.”

In the funny video, podcast host Viraj triggered Hardik’s anger by continuously insulting him and not letting him speak until he transformed into Venom. The host congratulated the all-rounder on lifting the trophy of the 2024 ICC Men’s T20 World Cup. However, Viraj started teasing Hardik by saying, “Par wo main wala nahi tha na, waisa wo toh T20 tha, main waale mein feel aata hai (But that wasn’t the main one, it was T20. I’d feel different if it was the main World Cup).” Hardik tried to explain that it was indeed a World Cup and they had won it, but the social media influencer continued the banter.

“Hardik, people say that you’re one of the most exciting players on the team after Yashasvi Jaiswal, Rishabh Pant and a few newcomers. How do you feel about that?” The question irritated the cricketer, who then asked the team, “Kya kar raha hai yeh (What’s he doing)?” They moved forward with the QnAs and the host kept on pulling the cricketer’s leg. “Andar ka jaanwar mat jaga, Viraj (Don’t wake up the animal inside me),” said Hardik as he was preparing to leave the place. Just then, Viraj decided to throw one last question about the cricketer’s personal life. This made Hardik so angry that he turned into Marvel’s popular antihero, Venom, and delivered a dialogue in his voice, “I am not okay. I shall remove your head and use it for bowling,” while Viraj was screaming for his life.

The video has received up to 7 million views on the internet. Many fans have appreciated Hardik’s acting. One fan wrote, “That Aggressive dikhau was the best.” Another said, “Out of the box promotion, bhai.”

Meanwhile, Tom Hardy starrer Venom-The Last Dance is scheduled to be released in theatres on October 24. It is the final film of the trilogy. Besides Hardy, it will star Chiwetel Ejiofor, Juno Temple, Rhys Ifans, Peggy Lu, Alanna Ubach and Stephen Graham.
