Actor Mahesh Thakur is popularly known for his roles in many films, TV serials and web shows. On the occasion of Mother’s Day on Sunday, May 12, Mahesh Thakur remembered his late mother. He got lost in the moments spent with his mother by looking at some old photographs and expressed his loneliness in a recent media interaction that is currently garnering everyone’s attention. Mahesh Thakur, who is currently seen in the family drama Aangan-Aapno Kaa, shared in an interview, “Mother’s Day holds a special place in my heart, especially since my mother passed away. Even with a hectic shooting schedule, I make it a point to pause and reflect on the beautiful moments we shared”. This year, he had spent the special day reminiscing and looking through old photos, reconnecting with the memories of their time together.
He also said the most enduring lessons his mother taught him, emphasising the importance of kindness and compassion in life. No matter what situation he goes through in life, his mother always encouraged him to understand and empathise with others. This lesson has profoundly shaped him and helped him achieve what he is today.
Aangan-Aapno Kaa is an Indian Hindi-language drama television series that aired on December 11, 2023, on Sony SAB. It is produced jointly by Cockcrow Entertainment and Shaika Films and stars Ayushi Khurana, Samar Vermani, Aditi Rathore, Neetha Shetty, and Mahesh Thakur in the pivotal roles.
This show is an adaptation of Sun Bangla’s Bengali series Kanyadaan and is also inspired by Sun TV’s Tamil serial Metti Oli. Earlier, he worked on other popular TV shows like Aahat, Astitva, Ek Prem Kahani, Shararat, Sasural Genda Phool, Ishqbaaaz, and Dil Boley Oberoi.
He was recently seen in the romantic comedy-drama television series Dil Dosti Dilemma. The series is directed by Debbie Rao and produced by Jahanara Bhargava and Seema Mohapatra. It stars Anushka Sen, Shishir Sharma, Mahesh Thakur, and Priyanshu Chatterjee in the main roles. The series premiered on April 25, 2024, on the OTT platform Amazon Prime Video.
