Junooniyatt, a musical drama centred on the lives of Elahi, Jahaan, and Jordan, has steadily earned a place in viewers’ hearts. Ever since its release, fans have been eager to catch a glimpse of the show and are eager to know what’s next. Junooniyatt captures the journey of three aspiring and passionate singers. Based in Punjab, the show stars actors Ankit Gupta, Gautam Singh Vig, and Neha Rana in the lead roles of Jahaan, Jordan, and Elahi respectively. According to the current storyline, Elahi has decided to end her marriage with Jordan.
However, after another much-awaited promo of the Colors TV show, people have been anticipating another major twist. In a recently shared promo, Elahi has resolved to give her relationship with Jahaan another chance. As she contemplates this decision, a sudden gunshot pierces the air and Jahaan jumps in to save Elahi. He falls victim to a mysterious assailant, taking a bullet to the chest. Elahi is overcome with shock and despair as she witnesses Jahaan lying in a pool of his own blood. This leaves fans wondering if Ankit Gupta’s role in the show is about to end. However, there is no official confirmation yet.

After the glimpses from the latest promo, many have been wondering if the makers are planning to kill Jahaan’s character played by Ankit Gupta. There is also some speculation going around that Ankit Gupta might quit the show. However, Junooniyatt’s story involving this pivotal moment will unfold only in upcoming episodes.
In the comment section of the promo, one user has written, “Jahaan show ma hona chaiye warna show flop ho jayega" which can be roughly translated to “Jahaan should be in the show, otherwise it will flop."

The popular show is produced by the well-known actor couple Ravi Dubey and Sargun Mehta. Following the immense success of their debut show, Udaariyaan, the producer duo presents another love triangle narrative for the younger audience. Udaariyaan catapulted its lead trio, Ankit Gupta (Fateh), Priyanka Chahar Chaudhary (Tejo) and Isha Malviya (Jasmine), to overnight fame.
Retaining Ankit from their previous show, the makers also added Gautam Singh Vig after his stint on Bigg Boss 16 and Neha Rana to the cast. The storyline took a compelling turn with Jordan’s mother opposing him and revealing his increasingly erratic behaviour, particularly towards Elahi. Elahi, initially submissive, eventually begins to assert herself in the face of Jordan’s mistreatment. The show has mostly been filmed in Chandigarh.
