The 23-year-old has been linked with the coveted role for the new movie 'Spectre', but he has insisted he's not been offered the chance
London: Singer Sam Smith has rubbished rumours that he's recording the new James Bond theme song.
The 23-year-old has been linked with the coveted role for the new movie 'Spectre', but he has insisted he's not been offered the chance.
"It's definitely not me. People seem to think I'm doing it but I have no idea what's going on," Smith said on Capital FM, reports femalefirst.co.uk.
However, Smith admitted he'd relish the opportunity to record the iconic theme and thereby follow in the footsteps of Adele, whose 'Skyfall' recording won the Best Original Song prize at the Academy Awards in 2013.
He said: "I'd love to do it. It'd be a dream to do."
