Imran Khan, who shot to fame with his debut feature Jaane Tu Ya Jaane Na, has been absent from the cinema for a long time. While his fans have been eagerly waiting for his comeback on screen, the actor is spotted around town rarely as well. Recently, Imran Khan attended the success bash for Juniad Khan’s debut film Maharaj. Post the party, the actor was also spotted having a candid chat with the paparazzi stationed outside the party venue.

Imran Khan graced the party with a dapper casual look. He wore a pair of blue denims with a collared black T-shirt. The actor briefly posed for the camera before entering the lift with others. In another paparazzi video, Imran Khan was seen leaving the venue when a certain feature on the photographer’s phone caught his attention. One of the photographers also demonstrated the feature to him. Getting a glimpse of their favourite actor surely made the day for his fans. One of them stated, “I am seeing him after so long and I have that Imran Khan of I hate Luv Storys and Mere brother ki Dulhan in my memory, and now seeing him getting old feels bad, although he’s a gem actor.”

Apart from Imran Khan, the success party was attended by Aamir Khan, Jaideep Ahlawat, Shalini Pandey and others. Maharaj was directed by Siddharth P. Malhotra and produced by YRF Entertainment. The film is based on the Maharaj Libel Case of 1862, and Saurabh Shah’s novel about it.

Imran Khan was last seen in Katti Batti with Kangana Ranaut. However, the film did not do well, and the actor has been on an indefinite break from the screen since then. A year back, Imran mentioned that he had been reading scripts. The actor stated, “I don’t have a clear answer, but I am reading scripts and having creative conversations with filmmakers. So, hopefully, next year,” as quoted by Instant Bollywood.

Imran’s performance in the critically acclaimed film Delhi Belly was widely acclaimed. He also appeared in the film Mere Brother Ki Dulhan, alongside Ali Zafar and Katrina Kaif. The film was a success at the box office. It was written and directed by Ali Abbas Zafar. He is also known for his roles in I Hate Luv Storys and Ek Main Aur Ekk Tu opposite Sonam Kapoor and Kareena Kapoor respectively.
