‘It’s A Combination Of 5 Genres’: Producer Maheshwar Reddy Mooli On His Film Shivam Bhaje

Actor Ashwin Babu-starrer Shivam Bhaje has been dominating headlines since it was announced. The film will be released tomorrow on August 1, 2024. Apsar has directed this film. On July 30, 2024, Shivam Bhaje’s producer Maheshwar Reddy Mooli, held a press conference and talked more about this film. Maheshwar Reddy said that he can’t reveal the full storyline of this film and can only say that the narrative will not be confined to 1 genre. As per the producer, Shivam Bhaje’s premise has been created from five distinct genres together, making it an impressive cinematic experience. The producer also clarified that Shivam Bhaje’s release date August 1 has not been decided keeping in mind Ashwin Babu’s birthday. According to Maheshwar Reddy, a date was planned, and it just happened to coincide with actor Ashwin’s birth date. The producer emphasised that the film is not being released as a birthday special.

Maheshwar Reddy recalled that he was impressed with Shivam Bhaje’s storyline the moment he heard it. As per the producer, the film’s premise could resonate with the viewers with its intriguing twists. He said that this prompted him to go ahead with the project by making an advance payment. He also remembered meeting Ashwin with this script; the actor gave his final nod to the project within 5 minutes.

Maheshwar Reddy added that from the point of view of the distributor, he thought that this was the right time for Shivam Bhaje’s release. He added that he has allocated more budget for the film to ensure richer production quality. He feels that if the content of the film is good, then the audience will watch it irrespective of the ticket prices.

Digangana Suryavanshi portrays the female lead in the movie. The film’s cast also includes Arbaaz Khan, Murali Sharma, and Tanikella Bharani in pivotal roles. Actors like Hyper Aadi, Brahmaji, and Shakalaka Shankar will be seen playing supporting roles in the film. Chota K Prasad has done the editing, while Sahi Suresh is in charge of the production design. Dasaradhi Shivendra is in charge of the cinematography, and Vikas Badisa has composed the music for the film.
