The latest episode of The Kapil Sharma Show was a hilarious one with actors and politicians Raj Babbar and Jaya Prada gracing the stage alongside the cast and crew of their upcoming film.
Kapil showered them with many questions related to the film industry and their co-stars and their responses were unrestrained. Kapil asked Jaya about punctuality in the movie profession and questioned her, “Which co-star of yours was late on movie sets?”

The upcoming weekend episodes of The Kapil Sharma Show will be villain special as ‘Bad Man’ Gulshan Grover and Ranjeet will the grace the stage along with actress Bindu Desai. Gulshan and Ranjeet will be seen sharing anecdotes from the past about being remembered for playing negative roles in Bollywood films over the years.
Ranjeet opens up about an incident and shares that his father, on seeing him play a negative role for the first time, was overwhelmed. He told him that they were not okay with their son bringing ‘infamy’ to their family back in Amritsar by playing negative parts.

Jaya Prada spoke at length about her rivalry with contemporary actress Sridevi in the 80s when she appeared on The Kapil Sharma Show recently. The two originally started off their careers in the Southern film industry and famously did not maintain a cordial relationship off camera.

I’m in favor of absolute freedom of speech. I want everybody to make whatever they want, as long as it’s creative work, as long as it’s their own interpretation about something. But when free speech is being used, or when a creative platform is being used for political agenda, then they will have political repercussion. There are no two ways about it.
Now, what has happened of late, is that the executives sitting in these American OTT platform offices, some of them are card-holding communists and activists, are using their political ideology to propagate the communist ideology. This is basically to embarrass the majority and to paint the majority as evil people and use religion as a tool. And that is quite visible now. This is why I’ve taken a stand against it.
