'Just A Technical Error': Yuvan Shankar Raja Explains Why He Deactivated Instagram Account

Renowned music composer Yuvan Shankar Raja, currently making headlines for composing the music for Thalapathy Vijay’s GOAT, recently shared the reason behind his deactivated Instagram account. He shared an official statement on his X handle, which is currently going viral.

In the post, he clarified that it was due to a technical glitch and assured his fans of his imminent return. On Thursday, April 18, Yuvan took to his official Twitter handle and wrote, “Hey guys, thank you for the concerned messages. It’s just a technical error; my team is trying to recover my Instagram account, and I’ll be back soon. Love, always!" Take a look at the post:

The post garnered more than 6.1 lakh views. Earlier, there were rumours that Yuvan intentionally deactivated his Instagram account.

Meanwhile, on the professional front, Yuvan Shankar Raja recently composed the first song of Thalapathy Vijay starrer GOAT: The Greatest of All Time, titled Whistle Podu. The song was released on April 14.

Along with Thalapathy, the music video also features Prabhu Deva and Prashanth. The song is sung by Vijay, composed by Yuvan Shankar Raja, and the lyrics are penned by Madhan Karky. Take a look at the song:

The song is currently going viral and has, till now, garnered 43,711,801 views on YouTube.

This upcoming Tamil-language science fiction action film is directed by Venkat Prabhu and backed by AGS Entertainment. The film stars Vijay in dual roles, along with an ensemble cast including Meenakshi Chaudhary, Sneha, Prabhu Deva, and Prashanth.

The music for the film is composed by Yuvan Shankar Raja, the cinematography is handled by Siddhartha Nuni, and the editing is done by Venkat Raajen. The Greatest of All Time is scheduled to be released worldwide on September 5.

Yuvan Shankar Raja has also teamed up with Pyaar Prema Kaadhal’s famed director Elan for Star. The movie will feature Kavin and Aaditi Pohankar in the lead roles. Star has yet to get a release date and is expected to be announced soon.

For the unversed, Yuvan Shankar Raja is the son of music maestro legend Ilaiyaraaja, who has been a renowned name in the music industry for many decades. Yuvan started his singing career with the 1997 film Aravindhan, helmed by T. Nagarajan. But he got his big break in 2002 as he composed songs for Dhanush’s debut flick, Thulluvadho Ilamai, helmed by Dhanush’s father, Kasthuri Raja.

After this, he never looked back. In the year 2017, he established a production studio known as YSR Studios.
