Karan Johar Played THIS Role in Vicky Kaushal-Triptii Dimri's Intimate Song Jaanam: Report
Triptii Dimri and Vicky Kaushal raised temperatures with their sizzling song Jaanam, for their film Bad Newz.

Vicky Kaushal and Triptii Dimri have set the screen on fire with their sizzling chemistry in Bad Newz’s new song, Jaaman. The music video features Vicky and Triptii perform several intimate scenes. While the song has everyone talking, a new report has now claimed that the music video was co-directed by Karan Johar.

According to Bollywood Hungama, Karan was present on sets of the song’s recording and wanted to ensure the actors felt safe while performing the scenes. “Jaanam was a very passionate song and Karan was on the set throughout to ensure that the leading actors – Vicky and Triptii – feel comfortable during the intimate scenes. Karan believes in the safety and security of his actors and was also behind the camera to co-direct the song,” a source told the entertainment outlet.

The report added that the song was shot earlier this year. “The song spells love, a funda that Dharma Cinema stands for. It’s a passionate way to express love, portrayed on the spectacle with right and safe shoot environment,” the insider said. The song, touted as the ‘Sexiest Song of the Year’, features the hotted couple of the season, making out in the pool, under the shower and even on the dinning table.

Directed by Anand Tiwari, Bad Newz is a rom-com that features a fresh trio of talents – Vicky Kaushal, Triptii Dimri, and Ammy Virk. The trailer’s offbeat storyline, where Dimri’s character finds out she’s expecting twins from two different fathers, portrayed by Kaushal and Virk, has intrigued audiences and sparked curiosity about the movie’s plot.

This marks Triptii’s first film following the success of Animal. If a report by Siasat.com is to be believed, Triptii was paid Rs 40 lakhs for Animal. However, following the rise in popularity, Triptii has allegedly charged anything between Rs 80 lakhs to 1 crore. The report claimed that she has quoted a similar fees for Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3. News18 couldn’t verify the claims at the time of publishing.
