Mohit Chauhan To Light Up Dubai With Bollywood Melodies On September 21

Bollywood singer-composer Mohit Chauhan will be performing at The Agenda at Media City in Dubai this month. His performance is scheduled for September 21, 2024, as part of the Road to Headlines Festival. The singer will be entertaining the crowd with some of his most well-known Bollywood hits, such as Tum Se Hi, Pee Loon, Kun Faya Kun, Matargashti, Masakali, and many more soulful tunes.

Chauhan expressed his excitement for the upcoming performance, saying it would be thrilling to return to Dubai after a long time. Speaking with IANS, he said he likes the active reaction of the audience and their attitude towards his music. Chauhan also called himself lucky to have been embraced with love by the fan base in Dubai and vowed to give the crowd a fun-packed show that would make the night musical memorable.

“I promise to bring a night full of fun, creating wonderful memories as we enjoy a musical journey together”, the singer told IANS.

Chauhan originally rose to fame as the lead singer of the chart-topping band Silk Route in the mid-1990s. Their first album Boondein (1998) included songs like Dooba Dooba and Pehchan which identified Chauhan’s voice and meaningful song lyrics.

He made his debut in Bollywood as a playback singer in 2002 with the song Pehli Nazar Mein for the film Road. But it was in 2006 that he got his commercial start and sang Khoon Chala for composer A R Rahman in Rang De Basanti.

Chauhan has been associated with famous music directors such as Pritam, Salim-Sulaiman and Sachin Jigar. He has composed music for the films Jab We Met (2007) & Delhi-6 (2009) out of which the songs Tum Se Hi and Masakali were blockbusters.

He was really appreciated for his work with A. R. Rahman and Imtiaz Ali for the Rockstar Album in 2011.

The singer was most recently spotted making a brief cameo in the streaming biopic Amar Singh Chamkila, which stars Parineeti Chopra and Diljit Dosanjh.
