Anant Ambani and Radhika Merchant marked their first Ganesh Chaturthi as a married couple by bringing home a grand Ganpati idol to the Ambani residence, Antilia, in Mumbai on Friday night. The couple, who tied the knot in a lavish ceremony in July, was spotted welcoming Lord Ganesh with big smiles, much to the delight of the paparazzi and fans alike. A video of the couple bringing the Ganpati idol has since gone viral on social media, showcasing the joy and excitement of the occasion.
Radhika looked radiant in a traditional red salwar suit, adorned with delicate floral embroidery. She accessorised her look with simple yet elegant earrings and tied her hair back, allowing her natural beauty to shine. Anant, on the other hand, sported a vibrant tangerine kurta paired with a matching jacket, exuding festive spirit. The couple greeted the awaiting paparazzi with warm smiles and folded hands, as they carried the Ganpati idol into their home.
Mukesh Ambani was also seen waiting outside Antilia alongside his daughter Isha Ambani. Mukesh, dressed in a simple white shirt, and Isha, in a graceful green outfit, were ready to welcome the Ganpati idol into the family home. The arrival of the idol is a significant moment for the family, especially for Anant and Radhika, as it marks their first major festival together as a married couple.
Last month, during the 47th Annual General Meeting (AGM) of Reliance Industries Limited (RIL), Nita Ambani officially welcomed Radhika into the Ambani family. Addressing the shareholders, Nita said, “With the grace of our devis and devatas, Anant has embarked on a lifelong journey of togetherness with his soulmate Radhika. We welcome Radhika into our Reliance family with open arms and hearts full of love.”
