Rishi-starrer Kannada Movie Ramana Avatara Rolls Out Special Release Day Offer
The movie is now all set to hit the theatres on May 10.

Kannada actor Rishi-starrer Ramana Avatara has been making headlines since it was announced. The movie is now all set to hit theatres on May 10. The upcoming film is said to be a feel-good entertainer. The makers have announced a special offer for the movie, which is currently creating a buzz. According to reports, for smaller films, the word-of-mouth publicity from the first few days in theatres matters a lot. Rishi is hopeful of giving Ramana Avatara a boost by bringing the film to audiences at a reduced price on Day 1. Perhaps buoyed by the enthusiastic response of audiences to the Rs 75 ticket rate on National Cinema Day, Ramana Avatara will begin its box office journey at Rs 99 per ticket. This fixed cost will apply not just to single-screen halls, but also to multiplexes as well as on May 10. The crew is also planning a paid premiere on May 9, with tickets priced at Rs 99. This offer is just valid for one day.

Ramana Avatara is directed by Vikas Pampapathi. As per sources earlier, the movie was supposed to star Rishi, Danish Sait, and Raj B Shetty as the main leads. By the time the project got around to shooting, only Rishi remained from the original cast. Later, he was joined by Anirudh Acharya and Arun Sagar, while Pranitha Subhash and Shubra Aiyappa played the female leads.

Ramana Avatara is said to be an enjoyable comedy drama with rib-tickling humour. It seems that Manish Rishi would play Rama, who wants to stop people from leaving his village. Along with hints of romance, it will also show kidnapping. What Rama must do next determines the storyline of the film. The highly- dramatic plot is laced with situational comedy, which will make it a mass entertainer.

The movie is backed by Amrej Suryavanshi under the banner of Star Fab Production. The film’s score and soundtrack were composed by Judah Sandhy, while the cinematography was done by Vishnu Prasad P, Sameer Deshpande and edited by Amar Nath.
