Salman Khan has been hit by the anime wave in India? His recent outing seems to be hinting at it. The actor was spotted at the Heeramandi premiere on Wednesday. He attended the premiere of the Netflix series to show his support to filmmaker Sanjay Leela Bhansali, who has created the series. The actor arrived at the location with tight security, wearing a casual fit.
The actor was seen wearing a black shirt with a pair of white pants. The pants have caught everyone’s attention, especially of those who follow anime and Japanese Manga. Salman’s pants seem to have given a nod to a few popular anime characters, including Goku from Dragon Ball Z and Nezuko Kamado from Demon Slayer. Watch the video below:
Salman made his way to the premiere with tight Y+ security. His personal security increased after two men fired gunshots outside Salman’s Galaxy Apartments on April 14. The attackers have been nabbed and investigation is underway. Although Salman has not reacted to the firing, his father Salim Khan told India Today, “What’s there to talk about ye jaahil log jo kehte hain maar denge tab pata lagega na (These illiterate people say you’ll learn your lesson when we’ll kill you). We’ve been given extra police protection. They’ve (Mumbai Police) assured protection for us and our friends. If they’ve arrested two people today, that means they’re on it.”
On the work front, Salman Khan is likely to begin the filming of his next, Sikandar, in May but not without tight security. Owing to the recent firing incident outside his house, Salman’s security has been scaled up. Salman had travelled to Dubai recently with tightened security.
A source has revealed that the security team will take over the shoot location 10 days before Salman arrives on sets to plan and secure the sets. “About a fortnight before the shoot commences, Salman’s security team will take over the location and secure it. Only after they are assured of the venue’s safety, will the shoot begin. The idea is to do so before every location change,” a source told Mid-Day.
