Shah Rukh Khan is one of the biggest superstars in the world. During the course of his illustrious career, the actor has amassed a huge fan following, not only in India but also globally. Recently, TV personality and DJ Nikhil Chinapa recalled his earlier encounter with the actor and said that he is ‘always playing’ the superstar Shah Rukh Khan.
Speaking on the Untriggered with AminJaz podcast, Nikhil said, “I’ve interacted with him a few times, and he’s incredible for the amount of time that he has to spend on people that he barely knows. He makes it a point to acknowledge everyone in the room while entering and leaving, and that’s a quality that not too many people have,”
Nikhil continued, “You’ll have to spend a lot of time trying to break down the layers. It’s all him, I think – I don’t know him very well – but there are so many layers of what he does before you actually get into who he really is. All the things that he does are genuine, and nice, and they come from him. Nobody’s manufactured it for him. But there are a lot of layers of the onion.
Nikhil added that his “gut feeling: is that Shah Rukh has “always played Shah Rukh”, even to himself in real life. “I think he’s only himself when he’s looking in the mirror and brushing his teeth,” the DJ concluded.
Shah Rukh Khan was recently seen in the comedy-drama film Dunki. The movie was based on based on donkey flights, an illegal immigration technique. The movie is directed and edited by Rajkumar Hirani and co-written by Abhijat Joshi and Kanika Dhillon. Apart from Shah Rukh Khan, the movie also stars Boman Irani, Vicky Kaushal and Taapsee Pannu in pivotal roles. The film was an enormous hit.
