Sonakshi Sinha And Zaheer Iqbal's Reception: Heeramandi Director Sanjay Leela Bhansali Makes His Signature Entry

Sonakshi Sinha married her longtime boyfriend and actor Zaheer Iqbal in a private civil ceremony on June 23. The couple then hosted a grand reception party in Mumbai, which was attended by the who’s who of Bollywood, including Sanjay Leela Bhansali. The Heeramandi director arrived at the venue in an all-white ensemble. He donned a white kurta set which he styled with black shoes and black glasses.

Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s niece and actress Sharmin Segal also attended the reception. The actress looked stunning in a white saree, paired with a golden sequin blouse. She was joined by her husband Aman Mehta, who was dressed in black attire.

Apart from Sharmin, the entire cast of Heeramandi: The Diamond Bazaar also attended the reception party. Sanjeeda Sheikh looked gorgeous in a purple saree as she made her way to the venue.

Aditi Rai Hydari was accompanied by her fiancé and actor Siddharth. She wore a brown-toned printed sharara set, while Siddharth looked dashing in a white sherwani set.

Meanwhile, Richa Chadha was seen with her husband, actor Ali Fazal. The parents-to-be were all smiles as they posed for photos. They twinned in black attire, with Richa flaunting her baby bump in a black salwar suit, while Ali looked dapper in a black long blazer layered over a white shirt and black pants.

The star-studded guest list also included names like Anil Kapoor, Kajol, Salman Khan, Gulshan Devaiah, Saqib Saleem, Huma Qureshi, Tabu, Anand L. Rai, and Reema Kagti.

Heeramandi: The Diamond Bazaar is a historical drama that explores the stories of love and betrayal in the lives of courtesans in pre-independence India. It featured Sonakshi Sinha as Fareedan, Richa Chadha as Lajjo, Aditi Rao Hydari as Bibbo, Sanjeeda Sheikh as Waheeda, and Sharmin Segal as Alamzeb.
