Sushmita Sen and Salman Khan are two of the biggest superstars in Bollywood. They have impressed the audience with various diverse characters in their illustrious careers, and often together. Sushmita and Salman’s Biwi No. 1, directed by David Dhawan, is touted by many as one of their most memorable films. Recently, Sushmita recalled how Salman encouraged her to wear heels in the film when David had asked her to wear flats due to the actor’s height.
In a recent interview with Mashable, Sushmita said, “When David would say on the sets of Biwi No. 1 that ‘Sush, heel mat pehen na. Heel mat pehen na aaj, gaana hai,’ so then I would come in flats like okay, no problem. Then Salman said, ‘Nice outfit but why are you wearing those chappals?’ So I said, ‘You’re short na.’ He burst out laughing and said, ‘Ja na, heel pehen ke aa. I’ll manage my height, you manage yours.'”

Sushmita also said, “Salman is famous for a lot of things, and he is very famous for throwing his co-actor off by cracking a joke in the middle of a scene. Then you’re just laughing because you have forgotten what you’re supposed to do. I have worked with him in three films and in all three films he has done that.”
Meanwhile, Sushmita Sen was last seen in Aarya Antim Vaar. Before that, she was seen in the web series Taali. She portrayed the real-life activist Shreegauri Sawant. Her role was appreciated her the audience and the critics alike.
As for Salman Khan, the audience is curious about what his next movie will be after Tiger 3. During the promotions for Tiger 3, Salman Khan said he’s working on a film called The Bull with Karan Johar. He even showed up at the start of the filming in Mumbai in December. The initial plan was to start filming in November 2023, with the aim of releasing it on the big screen over the Christmas weekend in 2024. However, the latest reports suggest that it has been pushed for later and is even facing budget issues.
