Taylor Swift clearly stands out in a room full of people. At the VMAs 2024, she was seen grooving to the beats of the popular rapper Eminem, who opened this year’s event. He made everyone nostalgic with his performance, channelling his 2000s style. Eminem gave an electric performance on a rendition of Houdini, the lead single from his latest album, The Death of Slim Shady.

BLACKPINK’s Lisa Sets The Stage On Fire With Her Performance
Popular K-pop idol Lisa performed her first solo number at this year’s MTV VMAs. Dressed in a red leather outfit featuring tassels, the 27-year-old performed two of her latest releases. She started off her performance with her latest single, New Woman, and then transitioned to ROCKSTAR, which was nominated in the Best K-pop category.

Sabrina Carpenter Kisses ‘Alien’ On Stage
Sabrina Carpenter gave an outstanding performance on a mix of her latest releases, Please Please Please, Taste, and Espresso, in a space-themed set featuring astronauts and an alien. During the transition to her single Taste, an interlude from Britney Spears’ Oops…I Did It Again played, and she surprised everyone with an unexpected kiss to an “alien” present on the stage.

Megan Thee Stallion’s Tribute To Britney Spears
Megan Thee Stallion paid homage to one of the most iconic VMAs moments at this year’s event. The rapper, who hosted the awards night, paid an ode to Britney Spears by recreating her look I’m a Slave 4 U performance from 2001’s VMAs.

Megan wore a green torso-baring bustier top and shorts that had blue fabric, creating a skirt effect around her legs. She completed her look with a yellow snake, just like Spears.
