Tom Holland can’t stop gushing over Zendaya’s 2024 Met Gala appearance. Though the ‘Spider-Man’ star didn’t accompany his girlfriend to the fashion’s biggest night on May 6, he took to his Instagram account to give a shout-out to her sensational looks.
Tom shared two pictures of Zendaya, who co-chaired the evening, to his profile with three heart-eyes emojis.The ‘Challengers’ star turned heads at the Metropolitan Museum of Art as she walked the red carpet in a Maison Margiela mermaid-cut gown which perfectly complemented the ‘Garden of Time’ theme, inspired by the Met Museum’s Sleeping Beauty: Reawakening Fashion exhibition.
Zendaya then switched into a black off-the-shoulder corset gown with a long train. She wore it with a massive floral headpiece.
Zendaya recently opened up about her relationship with Tom Holland. In a joint interview with Vogue and British Vogue, she praised her “Spider-Man: Homecoming” co-star for how he handled things after the film was released in 2017.
“We were both very, very young, but my career was already kind of going, and his changed overnight. One day you’re a kid and you’re at the pub with your friends, and then the next day you’re Spider-Man,” she said. “I definitely watched his life kind of change in front of him. But he handled it really beautifully.”
While the pair have been linked for years, they are pretty private about their relationship. Zendaya also spoke about how she would not want for her future children to go through the spotlight effect. “I don’t necessarily want my kids to have to deal with this,” the Disney Channel alum said of fame compromising her ability to live a normal and private life. “(I’m asking myself), what does my future look like? Am I going to be a public-facing person forever?”
