Bobby Deol’s appearance in the Animal teaser left everyone gasping for breath. Among others, his step-sister and Hema Malini’s daughter Esha Deol is also impressed. On Thursday night, Esha took to her Instagram stories and shared the teaser of Sandeep Reddy Vanga directorial. She appreciated her half-brother’s look at the end of the teaser and wrote, “Wait for the last shot…(fire emoji)…epic @iambobbydeol”.
Esha Deol is Dharmendra’s daughter from his second marriage with Hema Malini. She also has a sister named Ahana Deol. Prior to Bollywood’s Dream Girl, Dharmendra was married to Prakash Kaur with who he has two sons – Sunny Deol and Bobby Deol. Dharmendra married Prakash Kaur in 1954 when he was reportedly just 19 years old. It is claimed that Dharmendra married Hema without giving Prakash a divorce.
However, for a long time now, the equation between Dharmendra’s children from his first and second marriages seems to be getting better. It all started after Esha was seen posing with her half-brothers Sunny Deol and Bobby Deol during the Gadar 2 screening in August 2023.
Later in an interview with Bollywood Hungama, Esha was asked about the endless speculation with regard to her relationship with Dharmendra’s sons when she admitted that she knows what all is said about them. “The media knows what the public will like and they cater to them. They are doing their job. I don’t ever take it to heart. I take it with a pinch of salt. It’s something that I am always aware of. I knew we are often spoken of. There are certain things we can talk about and there are certain things we don’t want to talk about and we will not no matter how much we are coaxed,” she said.
Talking about Animal, the film stars Ranbir Kapoor and Rashmika Mandanna in the lead. It marks their first collaboration together. From the teaser, it can be argued that Bobby Deol will be playing the role of Animal’s enemy in the movie. The film also stars Anil Kapoor in a key role.
Animal was originally slated to release in August. It was set to clash with Sunny Deol’s Gadar 2, Akshay Kumar’s OMG 2 and Rajinikanth’s Jailer. However, the director chose to delay the film to December because the post-production of the film was incomplete. It will now hit theatres on December 1.
