Grand preparations are underway for Parineeti Chopra and Raghav Chadha’s wedding. The couple reached Udaipur on Friday, September 22 and will tie the knot today i.e. on September 24. However, the couple who got engaged back in May immersed themselves in pre-wedding festivities in India’s capital New Delhi. Some of the celebratory events consisted of a special Sufi night, a private mehndi ceremony and finally a 90s themed party that took place in Udaipur on September 23.
If reports by the entertainment portal PinkVilla were to be believed, Parineeti Chopra and Raghav Chadha’s 90s themed party kickstarted with the soulful voice of Navraj Hans. The beautiful evening reportedly resonated with mesmerizing songs like Kajra Mohabbat Wala and several Punjabi songs.

The guests that arrived at the wedding venue were gifted with a custom made cassette, personally curated by Parineeti Chopra herself. The same was accompanied with heartfelt phrases and messages describing them.
Speaking about the food menu, it comprised delectable food items like Candy Floss, Maggie counters, Chaat counters and other lip-smacking cuisines for the guests to relish. Needless to say, the event leading up to the grand wedding today was indeed a success.
While Priyanka Chopra and beau Nick Jonas couldn’t make it to the wedding, PeeCee’s mother Madhu Chopra graced the occasion and shared a glimpse of the 90s theme Sangeet Ceremony. Through an Instagram story, Madhu Chopra showed her outfit for the night. Donning an enchanting grey-black tone Prada ensemble, she accessorizsd her look with a pretty flower head, smoky eyes and red lip colour.

The wedding ceremony will kick off on September 24 with Raghav’s Sehrabandi followed by a baraat at the Taj Leela Palace. The jaimala will take place at 3.30 pm followed by the pheras at 4 pm and vidai at 6 pm.
According to reports, Parineeti Chopra and Raghav Chadha became friends while studying in London. The actress graduated from Manchester Business School with a triple honours degree in business, finance, and economics, while the politician attended the London School of Economics (LSE). They first met in London, and their bond grew stronger over time.
According to a Women’s Era report, Parineeti and Raghav took their friendship to the next level during her filming of Chamkila in Punjab. It was reported that the AAP leader regularly visited the actress on the set of the Netflix film directed by Imtiaz Ali.
Parineeti Chopra and Raghav Chadha got engaged on May 13 at New Delhi’s Kapurthala House. But the rumours about their relationship had started spreading months before they exchanged rings. Parineeti and Raghav were first seen together outside a restaurant in Mumbai. In March of this year, the politician denied claims of an affair with her. However, their frequent outings and dates fueled the rumours.
Raghav Chadha and Parineeti Chopra are both well-known in their fields. While Parineeti has been lauded for many of her performances on screen, Raghav’s journey from accountant to becoming the youngest Member of Parliament at the age of 33.
