Ranbir Kapoor has come a long way in his career. He has made a special place in the hearts of his fans through his acting skills. Well, recently, Ranbir’s statement on Virat Kohli’s biopic has gone viral on social media. The actor said that he thinks Virat Kohli should play the lead role if a biopic is made on the cricketer. This statement has ignited excitement among fans.

Star Sports quoted Ranbir saying, “If a Biopic is made on Virat Kohli, then he should play his role because he looks better than many actors & in terms of fitness as well”. Earlier, Ranbir Kapoor’s photo from Mumbai’s Wankhede Stadium has gone viral. Ranbir looked dapper in an informal blue suit and black sunnies and was seen interacting with former cricketer and presenter Harbhajan Singh and Ravi Shashtri.

However, earlier, Ram Charan has also expressed his desire to play the role of Virat Kohli in a biopic made on the Indian cricketer. The Telugu star revealed his desire during the India Today conclave. Appearing for the Conclave, Ram Charan was asked to share a role that he hopes to essay someday. After much thinking, the RC15 actor said he would like to star in a sports-based film. “I would like to play anything (related to) sports. It’s been long due.” When suggested that Charan could play Virat Kohli in his biopic, Charan replied, “Fantastic. He’s an inspiring soul. Given a chance, it will be fantastic. Good one, good one.”

On the work front, Ranbir Kapoor is currently making headlines after the release of the teaser and songs of his highly-anticipated film Animal. The actor seems to be on a roll because soon after the release of Animal, he will reportedly begin shooting his next film, the first instalment in Nitesh Tiwari’s Ramayana franchise. Of late, Ranbir has been papped in Mumbai, sporting Team India’s cricket Jersey.
