Shah Rukh Khan, Rani Mukerji and director Karan Johar surprised fans watching special screenings of Kuch Kuch Hota Hai. On Sunday night, Karan hosted three special screenings of Kuch Kuch Hota Hai in Mumbai as the film completes 25 years. With the film, Karan Johar too completed 25 years in the industry. While fans gathered to relive the iconic film, no one was prepared to watch SRK, Rani and Karan take the centre stage. Fans got emotional as they watched the trio reunite. Kajol couldn’t attend the event due to an outdoor schedule.
In videos shared from the screening, Shah Rukh was seen carrying Rani’s pallu as he walked into one of the screenings. Shah Rukh and Rani congratulated Karan on completing 25 years and shared their fond memories from the film’s shoot. Shah Rukh also said he missed Kajol on the special night and expressed his gratitude to Salman Khan for being a part of the film.
Rani thanked fans for showering their love on Kuch Kuch Hota Hai over 25 years. The actress also blew kisses at fans present at the screening and expressed her gratitude.

Kuch Kuch Hota Hai was released on October 16, 1998. The film marked Karan Johar’s directorial debut and was a blockbuster. The performances and the songs received much love at the time of release and continue to be loved by fans today.
