BYD India delivered 200 units of the Atto 3 electric Sport Utility Vehicle (SUV) in a single day.
The EVs were handed over to customers in Delhi-NCR, Mumbai, Bengaluru, Hyderabad, Chennai, and Kochi during an event to commemorate the company’s 16th year in the country. In India, the BYD Atto 3 e-SUV has a starting price of Rs 33.99 lakh (ex-showroom). The Atto 3 is also available in two versions: extended range and special edition.

BYD Atto 3 e-SUV: Exterior And Interior Features
The BYD Atto 3 has a blanked-off silver front grille and sleeker-looking wing-shaped LED DRLs, as well as a trapezoidal-styled dual-tone bumper, a faux silver skid plate, and BYD writing over the grille. The side profile is complemented with 18-inch dual-tone alloy wheels, a silver finish on the C-pillar, and blacked-out wheel arches. The BYD Atto 3 has a robust dual-tone bumper, a roof-mounted spoiler, and full-length LED tail-lamps.
The interior of the BYD Atto 3 includes a 12.8-inch rotating central screen with Android Auto and Apple CarPlay, door-mounted circular speakers, wireless charger, powered front driver and passenger seats, a 5.0-inch digital instrument cluster, stylish air-conditioning vents, powered tailgate, ambient lighting and a panoramic sunroof. In addition, the BYD Atto 3 has seven airbags, a 360-degree camera, Advanced driver-assistance systems (ADAS) features, hill descent control, Electronic stability control (ESC), anti-lock braking systems (ABS), traction control, and hill descent control as part of its safety suite.
BYD Atto 3 e-SUV: Battery And ARAI-Certified Range
The BYD Atto 3 has an ARAI-certified range of 521 km thanks to its 60.48 kWh battery. The electric motor has a peak output of 198 hp and a maximum torque of 310 Nm. Using a fast charger, the battery can be charged from 0 to 80 per cent in 50 minutes; however, at home, the battery can be charged from 0 to 80 per cent in 9.5 to 10 hours.
In November 2022, BYD had unveiled the Atto 3 electric SUV in India. The base variant of the BYD Atto 3 costs Rs 33.99 lakh, while the top model costs Rs 34.49 lakh (ex-showroom). The electric SUV has seating for up to five people.
