CBSE CTET 2023 Result Likely to be Released by End of September

The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) is expected to release the results of the Central Teacher Eligibility Test (CTET), 2023, on ctet.nic.in by the end of September. As per the latest media reports, the CTET result 2023 is expected to be declared on September 24, however, candidates must note that there has been no official confirmation on the same.

The CTET 2023 was administered on August 20 in two shifts, and on September 15 the provisional answer key and response sheets were made available to the candidates. Those who appeared for the CTET 2023 were offered individual scans of their OMR answer sheets by CBSE.

For a non-refundable fee of Rs 1,000 per question, CBSE had permitted applicants to file objections to the CTET 2023 provisional answer key up till 11.59 pm on September 18. The final solution key and the results will be made public by CBSE once it has looked into all objections raised regarding the answer key. Candidates should keep in mind that the CTET 2023 scorecard will remain valid for life. Numerous CBSE schools utilise the CTET to choose those individuals who would be appointed as teachers.

Step 1: Access the CBSE CTET official website at ctet.nic.in

Step 2: On the homepage, look for the CTET 2023 result link and click on it

Step 3: Enter your credentials for login.

Step 4: The CTET 2023 results will be displayed on the screen.

Step 5: Download and print a copy of the CTET 2023 result page for future records.

To pass CTET 2023, candidates in the general category must receive at least 60 per cent or 90 out of 150 marks. The minimum passing score for the test is 55 per cent. Candidates from the SC, ST, and OBC categories will receive a 5 per cent relaxation. Candidates who successfully passed CTET Papers 1 and 2 are eligible to apply for teaching positions in Classes 1 – 5 and Classes 6 – 8, respectively.

The 17th CTET was held in 3,121 examination centres throughout 136 Indian cities. More than 29 lakh applications were submitted to CBSE this year for the CTET. About 80 per cent of the applicants who enrolled to take the exam showed up for it. A total of 15,01,719 applicants registered for paper 1 (for classes 1 to 5), of which 14,02,184 were for exam 2 (for classes 6 to 8).
