Parts of Delhi are expected to witness disruptions in water supply for the next two days due to repairing work at Wazirabad, the Delhi Jal Board (DJB) announced on Tuesday. The department has urged people to use water with caution as well as to store a sufficient quantity so that their day-to-day operations are not affected.
The reparation work will begin on October 4 and will go on till October 5, as per the water department’s release.

Apart from this, the water department further said that the supply in Chittaranjan Park will also stop a few hours before other areas.
The water pressure will be low and might stop for a few hours in Prahladpur, Tehkhand, Tughlakabad Village, Sanam Vihar, Ambedkar Nagar and Devli as well.

In a post on X, the Delhi Jal Board has also given a list of helpline numbers for the people in affected areas. The water department said locals can contact these numbers in case of emergencies.
