Shraddha Murder Case Updates: A four-member team of Forensic Science Laboratory (FSL) in west Delhi’s Rohini will visit the Central jail on Friday, for Aaftab Amin Poonawala’s ‘post-narco test interview’. His narco test was successfully conducted on Thursday, wherein he made several revealing confessions.

Poonawala is the accused behind 27-year-old Shraddha Walkar’s murder, in which he chopped her body in 35 parts and spread it across parts of the national capital, including the Mehrauli forest.

Poonawala’s narco test began at 10:10 am on Thursday and he was kept under observation for an hour. Aaftab’s test went on for two hours, and his medical parameters are fine, Dr. Naveen Kumar who headed the test told CNN-News18 Aaftab could be called in for another narco test, only if the Police and the forensic teams don’t find his answers satisfactory.

According to sources, Aaftab repeated the confession he made in the polygraph test, where he said he killed her “in a fit of rage” after a fight over household expenses. On the forensics front, police are yet to get a DNA test report that may establish that body parts found on Aaftab’s cue are indeed Shraddha’s.

Senior doctors from the hospital, the Forensic Science Laboratory (FSL) and the Delhi police team are present for the narco analysis. According to officials, Poonawala reached the Ambedkar Hospital at 8.40 am.

Before undergoing narco analysis test, a general check up was also done to check his blood pressure, plus rate, body temperature and heart beat.  He signed a consent form with complete details of him and the team conducting his narco test.

Aaftab was arrested on November 12 and sent to five-day police custody, which was further extended by five days on November 17. The court on November 26 sent him to judicial custody for 13 days.
