New Delhi: Former IPS officer Kiran Bedi on Monday hit out at the Aam Aadmi Party-led Delhi government for holding protest demanding resignation of five policemen who defied Law Minister Somnath Bharti's orders to arrest Ugandan women who he felt were involved in drug trafficking and prostitution.

Bedi said the AAP has disappointed the people of Delhi. "I'm sure the people have been disappoinmted by the party as they did not vote for this party for chaos, diorder."

She also asked why the Kejriwal government cannot wait for a judicial probe and investigation.

Bedi tweeted, "Political leadership of Delhi appears to be itching to move out of responsibility of governance. Perhaps want confrontation with police for arrest. "

She added, "Delhi is under unruly political leadership. Who are they listening to? Are they doing what they think is the only way to govern or survive?"

Attacking their mode of governance, Bedi said, "In public life there's a difference between activism (Television+) and governance(Vision+). In life some do move up from school-to-college-to-university."

On the question of bringing the police under the Delhi government, Bedi said, "Proper law and order in Delhi has direct bearing on perception of Central government. Thereby impacts government of India performance nationally with media focus."
