163. Garhi is a state Assembly/Vidhan Sabha constituency in the state of Rajasthan and is part of Banswara (ST) Lok Sabha/Parliamentary constituency. Garhi falls in Banswara district and South region of Rajasthan. It is categorised as a rural seat.
There are a total of 2,61,088 voters in the seat, which includes 1,31,892 male voters, and 1,29,196 female voters. In the 2018 Rajasthan elections, Garhi recorded a voter turnout of 77.54%. In 2013 the turnout was 77.05%, and in 2008 it was 67.1%.
In 2013, Jeetmal Khant of BJP won the seat by a margin of 24,450 votes (13.86%). Jeetmal Khant secured 52.09% of the total votes polled.
INC won this seat in the 2008 Assembly elections with a margin of 25,433 votes (18.79%), registering 46.8% of the total votes polled.
In the 2014 Lok Sabha elections, BJP led in the Garhi Assembly segment of the Banswara (ST) Parliamentary/Lok Sabha constituency.
