31. Khetri is a state Assembly/Vidhan Sabha constituency in the state of Rajasthan and is part of Jhunjhunu Lok Sabha/Parliamentary constituency. Khetri falls in Jhunjhunu district and North region of Rajasthan. It is categorised as a rural seat.
There are a total of 2,02,777 voters in the seat, which includes 1,06,973 male voters, and 95,804 female voters. In the 2018 Rajasthan elections, Khetri recorded a voter turnout of 74.3%. In 2013 the turnout was 74.2%, and in 2008 it was 63.9%.
In 2013, Pooranmal Saini of BSP won the seat by a margin of 7,850 votes (5.98%). Pooranmal Saini secured 32.3% of the total votes polled.
INC won this seat in the 2008 Assembly elections with a margin of 11,067 votes (11.12%), registering 33.8% of the total votes polled.
