Opposition Parties Delegation Meets President Over the Country’s ‘State of Affairs’
A delegation of opposition parties met President Pranab Mukherjee on Wednesday and presented a memorandum about their concern over the state of affairs in the country.

New Delhi: A delegation of opposition parties met President Pranab Mukherjee on Wednesday and presented a memorandum about their concern over the state of affairs in the country.

Speaking to the press after the meeting, Congress leader Ghulam Nabi Azad, “A 13-member delegation of opposition parties from both the houses met the President. We have given a detail memorandum to the president.”

“We have drawn the attention of president on voices being muzzled. In a democracy, rule of law should prevail but mob lynching and harassment is seen in the country. Many incidents like Alwar, Dadri and Udhampur many incidents are being witnessed in the country. Key bills are being disguised as money bills,” he added.

Hitting out the BJP, Azad said the ruling party was causing instability in the country. “Non BJP ruled states are being destabilize and artificial majority are worked upon. Recent examples are Manipur and Goa.
