Rahul Gandhi goes 'missing' again; BJP slams him, Congress comes to his defence
Rahul's sudden and regular disappearance has always been a very juicy subject in the corridors of power.

New Delhi: Congress vice president Rahul Gandhi is once again ‘missing’. According to Congress sources, he has gone to the United States of America. Coincidentally, his visit is taking place at the same time as Prime Minister Narendra Modi's week long visit to the country.

While the Congress has claimed that Rahul Gandhi is attending the Charlie Rose conference in Aspen in USA, the ruling Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) at the Centre has slammed the claims of the Congress. The BJP has said that ‘Weekend With Charlie Rose’ was held between June 25 and July 4 claiming that Congress is lying about Rahul Gandhi’s whereabouts.

The Congress has reacted to it strongly saying that it is nothing but a mere propaganda of the BJP. Rahul’s inner circle is claiming that the BJP is citing schedule of an old ‘Weekend With Charlie Rose’ conference adding that the event is a private conference of 100 leaders and it is currently underway.

They also claim that the party cannot release details as it is a private conference. They have also maintained that Rahul’s office will release photographs, copies of the invitation once the event is over.

However, this is not the only explanation that the Congress has given. So far, the party has furnished three reasons for Rahul's disappearance. Apart from him attending a private conference, Congress has also said that he has gone to US for a short personal trip. Others also say that he has gone to the US to attend to his ailing grandmother.

Rahul’s sudden and regular disappearance has always been a very juicy subject in the corridors of power.
