New Delhi: Suffering from poor perception and with her party being seen in drift, Congress President Sonia Gandhi will address her party MPs on Wednesday, just a day after the Union Cabinet approved the Lokpal Bill.
It will be Sonia Gandhi's first address to the party since she returned from the US where she underwent surgery in August.
Sonia Gandhi is likely to chalk out her party's strategy regarding the upcoming polls in five states.
The Food Security Bill is likely to be used as a platform to congratulate the UPA Government. The Lokpal Bill will also be used by her to counter Team Anna and the Opposition.
She is also expected to spell out the steps taken by the UPA so far to counter corruption.
Sonia Gandhi's address to her party is being seen to be crucial as it comes in the backdrop of a severely ailing UPA-2.
