140. Udaipura is a state Assembly/Vidhan Sabha constituency in the state of Madhya Pradesh and is part of Hoshangabad Lok Sabha/Parliamentary constituency. Udaipura falls in Raisen district and Malwa North region of Madhya Pradesh. It is categorised as a rural seat.
There are a total of 2,25,318 voters in the seat, which includes 1,21,163 male voters, and 1,04,145 female voters. In the 2018 Madhya Pradesh elections, Udaipura recorded a voter turnout of 77.73%. In 2013 the turnout was 70.32%, and in 2008 it was 66.35%.
In 2013, Ramkishan Patel of BJP won the seat by a margin of 44,053 votes (29.13%). Ramkishan Patel secured 60.14% of the total votes polled.
