New Poster Of Mokksha-starrer Chithini Sets The Tone For An Eerie Tale

A new poster of the much-awaited Malayalam film Chithini was recently unveiled by director East Coast Vijayan. The poster offers a glimpse into the eerie setup of the film to the audience. Set in a jungle, the scene shows a girl — which appears to be a ghost — sitting at the front of a jeep with her face concealed by her hair. It is now generating a huge buzz on the internet. The release date of the film has yet to be announced. Actress Mokksha will be starring in the film as the lead. She shared the poster on Instagram, with the caption, “First Look poster of Malayalam movie Chithini. A Film by East Coast Vijayan (Director and Producer). Amith Chakalakkal and Kalavadiya Manish many more to come up in all languages”.

Fans have showered the post with congratulatory messages. One user commented, “All the best”. Another user added, “Awaiting the release. Hoping the film to be a super hit”. Some fans also filled in the comment section with heart emojis.

Chithini features a stellar cast including Mokksha renowned actors like Amith Chakkalakkal and Vinay Forrt. Newcomers Arathi Nair and Enakshi also hold significant roles in the movie.

Penned by KV Anil, with screenplay and dialogues by East Coast Vijayan and K V Anil, Chithini promises to grab the eyeballs of the Malayalee audiences with its horror family emotional thriller. Scheduled for release in Malayalam, Tamil, Telugu, Hindi, and Kannada languages, the film is set to make waves across multiple regions.

The ensemble cast including Johny Antony, Joy Mathew, Sudheesh, Srikanth Murali, and others, headlines East Coast’s seventh production. Behind the scenes, Ratheesh Ramakrishnan serves as the cameraman, with Ranjin Raj handling music direction and John Kutty editing. The lyrics of the music are penned by East Coast Vijayan, Santhosh Verma, and Suresh. The movie features four songs in total.

The shooting for the film wrapped up in just 52 days, spanning various locations in Palakkad and its surrounding areas such as Malampuzha, Dhoni Forest, Puducherry, Chinganchira, Kodumbu, Walayar, Chittoor, Thathamangalam, Kollengode, and Kalamandalam.

Touted to be a horror thriller, Chithini is produced by East Coast Vijayan. Shooting for the film has wrapped up, and post-production is underway. Chithini marks the seventh film produced by the East Coast.

East Coast Vijayan is best known for films including Mohabbath and Novel. His last film Kallanum Bhagavathiyum made an impressive performance at the box office.
