Actor Jagadeesh, who portrayed Allu Arjun’s friend Keshava in Pushpa: The Rise, was taken into custody on December 6 for allegedly making threats against a woman who took her own life. Now, the actor has admitted to the crime, according to media sources. She allegedly committed suicide on November 29 after Jagadeesh threatened to release her private photos in public. Jagadeesh reportedly dated the aforementioned woman years ago, according to reports. Following Pushpa: The Rise’s success, they amicably ended their relationship. The actor later threatened to release her private images. He was no longer dating this woman at that time; the woman had even severed all relations with him. Jagadeesh intimidated the woman because he wanted her to come back to him.
Jagadeesh was taken into custody under the Criminal Procedure Code’s (CrPC) Section 174, which deals with suspicious deaths. According to the most recent reports, Jagadeesh acknowledged taking her pictures with malicious intent and then blackmailing her. In addition, he expressed his jealousy of her present relationship. Upon learning of the suicide, police arrived to the location, transported the body for a postmortem. After a case was filed, the Panjagutta police started investigating right away.
