Roja Selvamani was one of the finest actresses who used to win the hearts of the audience with her enchanting beauty and stellar acting. She was one of the leading actresses in the Telugu and Tamil film industries and ruled the screens from 1991 to 2002. After gaining success as an actress, she ventured into the political arena and now holds an important position in YS Jagan Mohan Reddy’s government as the Minister for Tourism, Culture and Youth Advancement of Andhra Pradesh. Her daughter, Anshumalika Selvamani, often grabs headlines with her social media posts. Recently, few of her old photos have surfaced online and gained much traction.
The 20-year-old, who inherited her mother’s beauty, is enrolled in the Luddy School of Informatics, Computing and Engineering in Indiana University. Anshumalika Selvamani is quite active on social media and often shares glimpses of her life as an international student in Indiana University. She dropped photos of herself with a group dressed in Puente’s logo written across her t-shirt. It is a non-profit organisation she is working with. Dressed in a white tee and black tights, she posed with several friends of hers.

Earlier, in the month of December, Anshumalika Selvamani shared some snaps of her friends engaged in a group activity. While her caption did not reveal much, the first photo shows her posing against a hilly terrain. She posed in baggy clothes and sports shoes, which hints that she may have hiked up to that place. The next two photos show Anshumallika and her friends standing in a circle with placards in their hands, which might be part of their curriculum.

It was being speculated that Anshumalika Selvamani is going to follow in her mother’s footsteps. The rumour mill is strife with reports of Anshumallika making her debut in the movies with a Telugu project. Her father RK Selvamani denied the rumours. He said, “If she wants to come back and act, then a decision will be taken about it.”
