Catch ‘Bhairathi Ranagal’ in cinemas on 15th August 2024.”

Shivarajkumar, while speaking at an event, shared his experience of Mufti shooting. He was a bit tensed after knowing that his character would make an entry only during the interval. “The film exudes authenticity and is progressing smoothly, with commendable teamwork. Actress Rukmini Vasanth is part of the cast and filming has taken place near Devanahalli, with 70% of the movie already completed. The shooting is done in various locations including Mysore, Bellary and Penugonda”, he shared.
“In Mufti, Shivarajkumar’s character enters in the second half and takes charge,” shared director Narthan. “However, people were not satisfied with just that small story and began asking for more. As I began crafting the backstory of Bhairathi Ranagal, I found myself unable to stop. As we all know, his black attire became iconic. This film will delve into what led Bhairathi to become a gangster and what prompted him to adopt his signature black-on-black look,” Narthan elaborated.
The filmmakers have strategically chosen an Independence Day release, providing a lengthy weekend for the film’s screening. Bhairathi Ranagal is anticipated to face off against Allu Arjun’s much-awaited Pushpa: The Rule, also set to release on August 15, 2024. Given Allu Arjun’s immense popularity across the nation and Karnataka’s penchant for films from various languages, the Independence Day clash is expected to be significant.
In addition to Bhairathi Ranagal, Shivarajkumar will play a significant role in Ram Charan’s RC 16, helmed by Buchi Babu Sana. The actor is also anticipated to reprise his role in R Chandru’s sequel to Kabzaa titled Kabzaa 2.
