We’re just a few weeks away from Apple unveiling its first M4-powered Macs this month. The company is likely to start shipping the M4 Macs from early November, but the event will show us what the new M4 chip Macs offer. And before the official event takes place, videos are already showing the rumoured M4 MacBook Pro model that has apparently even been unboxed by one YouTuber in Russia recently. Apple is tipped to launch the new M-series silicone with the MacBook Pro model this year, so the video has surely got everyone excited.
M4 MacBook Pro Video Unboxing Leak: Is It The Real Deal?
The video of unboxing of the rumoured M4 MacBook Pro will surely have Apple worried, especially as the company keeps most of the unreleased products and news close to its chest. The clip of the MacBook Pro model clearly shows the M4 processor written on the box, along with other details like 16GB RAM and 512GB SSD storage.
The biggest issue with the circulating video is that the boxed design of the MacBook Pro is similar to the M3 version, which raises suspicion about its credibility and whether it is a morphed visual of the older model.
Either way, we’ll know more about the actual product in a few weeks as reported by Bloomberg. The company is expected to have an event to announce the new M4-powered MacBook Pro, iMac and even an iPad Mini model later this month.
The company has already given us a detailed look at the M4 processor with the new iPad Pro model earlier this year, so we just need a hardware upgrade for the MacBook Pros. According to the report, the M4 chip will primarily improve the overall performance, but one Mac model will undergo significant alterations. This could be a new Mac mini model, which the analyst claims will be released this year.
Apple is reportedly ending the 8GB RAM model for MacBooks and starting its lineup with a base of 16GB RAM from now on as the new macOS version supports Apple Intelligence features. Apple and other tech giants have highlighted that running AI tasks and hardware requires more power and the decision to make 16GB RAM as the base option will be much welcomed.
