It's raining smartphones this month in India! There are over 10 phones scheduled to be launched in India this month alone - including Apple's new iPhones and Google's latest Nexus phones. We have compiled here a list of all the phones scheduled to hit Indian shores in the festive month of October.
Huawei Honor 7
Chinese smartphone manufacturer Huawei is all set to launch its new smartphone - the Honor 7 - in India on October 7. While the company is yet to announce the price for the Indian market, we expect it to be priced around Rs 25,000. According to a person with knowledge of the Honor 7 India launch plans, the phone will be priced in the same bracket as the Honor 6 Plus.
Update: Huawei has launched the Honor 7 smartphone in India at a price of Rs 22,999. The phone will go on sale from October 15.
Gionee Elife E8
Unveiled to the world in June, the new Gionee Elife E8 is coming to India on October 8. The highlight of the Gionee Elife E8 is its 24 megapixel rear camera that is said to produce images of up to 100 megapixel resolution. The company, on the same day, will also announce its foray into e-commerce in India.
Motorola Moto X Style
The much-awaited Moto X Style will finally be launched in India on October 8. The company has started sending out media invites for its event on Thursday this week.
Coolpad Note 3
Coolpad is all set to launch the Note 3 smartphone in India on October 9. While the company has not revealed the exact pricing of the phone, it says it will be priced under Rs 10,000. The Coolpad Note 3 is claimed to be the first fingerprint scanner smartphone under Rs 10,000.
Meizu M2
After launching the Meizu M2 Note in India in August, Meizu has now plans to introduce the M2 smartphone in the country. The company says it will launch the new 5-inch dual-SIM 4G M2 phone on October 12.
LG Nexus 5X, Huawei Nexus 6P
People at LG and Google - with knowledge of the Nexus India launch plans - have confirmed to IBNLive that both the phones are going to hit the Indian shores on October 13.
Apple iPhone 6s, iPhone 6s Plus
Unveiled early last month, the new iPhones are coming to India on October 16. While Apple is yet to announce the prices of the new iPhones, they have already made their way to Flipkart. The new iPhones are listed on the e-commerce site at Rs 64,836 onwards.
Lenovo Vibe P1 and Vibe P1m
Lenovo has confirmed that the new phones will be launched in India this month. According to a Lenovo spokesperson, the company is yet to block the date, but the launch will take place either on October 19 or October 20. The phone were unveiled for the first time at IFA 2015.
