New Delhi: We, the humans, have created the machine after all. Hence, it is our job to teach them new things, including the very ability to learn those things.

Microsoft Research is aiming at just that- helping you teach your machine how to learn. The new machine learning tool lets anyone show computers the way to learn things about which you hold knowledge about.

With the new tool Microsoft aims to democratize machine learning and bring the ability to solve everyday problems with artificial intelligence into the hands of consumers.

For example, a chef could tell a computer how to create certain recipes, while a doctor could get a software sift through medical records and find data relevant to a new patient, Engadget notes.

The new tool is currently in invitation-based beta that helps apps understand what people are saying using natural language.
