New Delhi: Motorola has started sending out media invites for its July 28 event that will take place in New Delhi, London, New York and Sao Paulo. While the invites do not clearly state as to what the company has up its sleeves for the event, they do hint at major upcoming releases.

The India invite sent out by the Lenovo-owned company is cryptic and leaves you guessing. It says, "A good friend will offer you umbrella when it rains", and "a best friend will forever be ready to dance in the rain with you", followed by the hashtag #MyMotoBFF at the bottom.

But another invite put up by the company in a post on its blog clears the air a little. It reads, "Your relationship status is about to change. XGX, Moto". The "XGX" in the invite hints at two new Moto X variants and a new Moto G model.

The post further says, "We need to talk. It's not you. It's your phone. Sure, we know you love and depend on it, but the time has come for all your care and devotion that you show your phone to be returned. We have some news to share, so tune in to find your perfect Moto match on July 28. Save the date — a better mobile relationship is headed your way."

If rumours are to be believed, the new Moto G will come with a 5-inch 720p display, Qualcomm's Snapdragon 410 processor, 13 megapixel rear camera, and a 5 megapixel front camera.

Speculations are rife that the company could also introduce the successor to the Moto 360 smartwatch.

What's your reaction?
