Soon after the first sale of the recently launched Xiaomi Redmi 4A got over, the company has now announced that the availability of the older Redmi 3S and Redmi 3S Prime handsets on Amazon.in for Rs 6,999 and Rs 8,999 respectively. According to the e-commerce major, both the Redmi 3S phones will be available on Amazon.in every Friday at 12PM starting March 24.
The Xiaomi Redmi 4A went on its first online sales on March 23, Thursday at 12 PM and the company claims to have sold 2.5 lakhs units on both Amazon.in and Mi.com. The sale, which required no prior registrations, lasted for just four minutes. The next sale will happen on March 30 at 12PM.

While the spec sheet of the Redmi 3S is very similar, the new Redmi 4A offers a refreshing design and colour options. The older Redmi 3S provides a slightly better hardware-- 1.4Ghz octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 430 and 4,100mAh battery. On the other hand, the cheaper Redmi 4A is powered by a 1.4 Ghz quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 425 processor and 3,120mAh battery.
The Redmi 3S comes with 2 GB RAM and 16 GB internal storage. It is priced at Rs 6,999. The Redmi 3S Prime, on the other hand, includes 3 GB RAM, 32 GB internal storage and a fingerprint sensor. The Prime variant costs Rs 8,999.
