YouTube users have reported a widespread outage of the video streaming platform, with attempts to visit the website returning a 500 Internal Server Error. DownDetector, A website that tracks outages across the world shows that the YouTube server is majorly down across the US, Australia and Japan. As per the latest data by the website, around 50 percent of users are unable to watch videos on YouTube, 34 percent are not able to access the website and 14 percent users are unable to upload videos on YouTube.
Users across social media have shared the internal error message being shown while attempting to access the website.
