Entering into new territory, Star Plus is set to introduce a brand-new show titled Dil Ko Tumse Pyaar Hai, promising a “fairytale love story” on the screens. Featuring Aditi Tripathi as Deepika and Akkshith Sukhija as Chirag in the lead roles, the show is set against the backdrop of Rajasthan, exploring the love story of Deepika and Chirag amid societal and familial challenges. The makers recently unveiled a fresh promo, giving a glimpse into their characters and the struggles that Deepika faces at home.
Following her mother’s demise, she is mistreated by her stepmother and stepsister, while her father remains helpless. While she hopes for someone to come into her life, Chirag’s family proposes marriage to her sister, Jhanvi. However, things take a turn after Chirag chooses Deepika over Jhanvi, thus leading to a conflict between the two sides.
It is also evident that Deepika’s hardships will only increase, as she will be blamed by her stepmother and stepsister for Chirag’s decision. “Gairon se ghiri duniya mein Deepika dhoond rahi hai koi apna. Kya iss asal zindagi mein poora hoga Deepika ka fairytale pyaar waala sapna? #DoYouBelieveInFairytales?” the promo’s caption.

On the other hand, Mannara Chopra also reacted to the promo, sending her best wishes to Deepika and her new journey. “I am an evidence of what a fairytale looks like! My loved ones call me ‘Barbie,’ so you can imagine! My personal and professional journey has been nothing sort of a fairy tale, like Cinderella, with all the positivity and love people have bestowed upon me. All the best, Deepika!” the actress wrote.
Promising to be a captivating tale of love and resilience, Dil Ko Tumse Pyaar Hua premiered on Monday, July 15. Fans can catch the latest episodes on Star Plus and Disney+Hotstar at 7 PM.
