Elon Musk Mocks Telegram CEO's 100 Biological Children Remark

Tesla CEO Elon Musk responded to Telegram CEO Pavel Durov’s shocking admission of having over 100 biological children through sperm donation. Durov, who is single and prefers a solitary life, revealed that he became a parent 15 years ago and now has kids spread across 12 countries.

Musk, known for his wit and sarcasm, replied on behalf of Genghis Khan, the founder of the Mongol empire, saying “Rookie numbers lmao – Genghis Khan.” The comment was made on a post featuring a screenshot of Durov’s original statement.

Genghis Khan is believed to have fathered several children. According to a study titled The Genetic Legacy of the Mongols that was published in the American Journal of Human Genetics, 0.5% of men worldwide are descended from Genghis Khan.

Meanwhile, the SpaceX CEO had 12 children with three different partners: six with the former wife, Justine Wilson, three with his former girlfriend Grimes and three with Neuralink executive Shivon Zilis.

Musk has previously voiced worries about the declining demographics, particularly in wealthy nations.

He has drawn attention to the “demographic suicide” phenomena that occur in rich countries, highlighting the lack of an evolutionary reaction to the absence of new life, even in cases when the population stays constant.

On the other hand, Durov’s 5.7 million Telegram followers were informed of his shocking revelation.

He recounted how, at his friend’s request, he decided to donate his sperm about fifteen years ago. He went on to say that he intended to make his DNA open-source so that his biological offspring could immediately locate one another.

Durov claimed to have been told following his visit to the clinic that his genetic material was in great demand. So he made the decision to keep donating once this sparked his curiosity.

He stated that his stored sperm is still available for “anonymously used by families who want to have kids” at an IVF facility, even though he has now stopped donating.

Durov stated his purpose for the contributions, which aimed to “destigmatise” sperm donation and inspire more healthy men to participate.
