'Just Chilling In Middle Of The Road': This Altercation Between Bus And Car Driver Is Hilarious

We have all witnessed roadside conflicts at least once. It might be about someone driving in the wrong lane, hitting another vehicle, being irresponsible, parking and so on. Road battles might arise on any given issue. Sometimes, tensions escalate and things become heated. However, there are also occasions when conflicts provide nothing more than entertainment for spectators. But have you ever heard of a peaceful confrontation? Neither did we, until we watched a recent video demonstrating just that. Despite its peaceful nature, the confrontation was truly epic.

The confrontation involves a car and a Karnataka State Road Transport Corporation (KSRTC) bus. The footage appears to be taken from a car’s dash cam. What happens is that the car and the bus are travelling in opposite directions before they come face-to-face. In a typical case, one of the vehicles would shift slightly in any other direction to allow both vehicles to pass. But not them. And that’s the most hilarious part.

So instead, they just kept staring at each other. Each is waiting for the other to make a move. However, none of them appear to bow down. Although we can’t see the degree to which the car driver is staring, the bus driver didn’t blink (literally). The stare became more intense with each passing second and both were determined not to move. This staring competition lasted 2 minutes and 22 seconds, during which other vehicles were seen passing by.

Not to mention the relaxing background music. It seemed as though the driver was lounging on a serene riverbank. Eventually, the bus driver starts to move at the very last second.

The comments section on the video were even more hilarious. A user suggested, “What would be funnier is if you just kept smiling at him. Like a creepy smile.”

Another commented, “This was so satisfying to watch XD. Just increase your music volume and browse your phone. That bus driver though! Stone like reaction, eventually swallowed his ego and moved on.”
