Jumping from one cube to the next, the structures kept rotating, crafting an illusion of a high-stakes game. A wrong move could result in a dramatic fall into what appeared to be an endless pit.

We can safely say that Artificial Intelligence (AI) is likely to be a big part of the future. In fact, it is the future. AI has made its mark on various aspects of our lives, and the gaming industry is no different. While the gaming world has seen quick technical progress over the years, the real breakthrough came with the incorporation of AI. This powerful change didn’t just reshape virtual experiences; it also made its presence felt in the actual physical gaming spaces.

In a recent Instagram post, the fusion of technology took centre stage, featuring a young girl involved in what seemed like a thrilling yet risky physical game. The video captured her nimble movements across three rotating structures, each equipped with cubes on all sides. Jumping from one cube to the next, the structures kept rotating, creating an illusion of a high-stakes game where a wrong move could result in a dramatic fall into what appeared to be an endless pit.

Now, what you’re seeing is like a magic trick – those spinning things and the deep pit aren’t real at all. All thanks to Visual Effects or VFX which is a technology that makes videos by putting together real action scenes with computer-made images.

Think about those action movies where the hero jumps out of a helicopter or battles huge monsters – all those cool scenes are made possible by VFX. Basically, VFX combines real footage of people and places with computer-made images to create situations that look real and sensible. Without VFX, making these scenes could be really expensive, dangerous and not practical at all.

The Instagram post quickly went viral, amassing over 94 million views and leaving viewers both bewildered and fascinated. The comments section reflected a mix of emotions – from concern for the girl’s safety to awe of the technological marvel on display.

One user raised a concern, asking, “What happens if you fall? Is it concrete?”

Another user reassured the audience, stating, “It’s VFX. Why is everyone commenting as if this is real?”

Meanwhile, a third user remarked, “That fall looks brutal.”

Yet another user, despite acknowledging the artificial nature, candidly expressed, “Even though it’s fake, I still would be scared.”

What's your reaction?
