In today’s social media era, platforms like YouTube have become powerful tools for people to share their ideas and even earn a living. YouTube, in particular, is a popular channel for vloggers, where many not only gain fame but also generate substantial income through views and advertising revenue. One such success story is that of Rajesh Rawani, a seasoned truck driver who has recently found unexpected online fame. With over two decades of experience moving across the Indian roads, Rajesh utilised his passion for food to become a highly popular YouTuber.
Through his channel, R Rajesh Vlogs, the truck driver showcases his cooking skills and recipes online, an idea that surprisingly turned into a profitable venture for him. His passion and talent have led him to earn a substantial income as a YouTube influencer.

In a conversation with Siddharth Kannan, Rajesh shared how he initially posted a video with his voiceover, which went viral instantly. “So, my son made a video showing my face, and it got 4.5 lakh views in just one day,” he added. Since then, he has been running the vehicles and the YouTube channel at the same time. Rajesh opened up about earning Rs 4-5 lakh per month from YouTube, with his highest revenue going up to Rs 10 lakh, whereas he earns between Rs 25,000-30,000 per month as a truck driver.
He also shared that his father, who was also a truck driver, was the sole breadwinner for the family and would hardly send Rs 500 back home. This experience pushed Rajesh to develop a deep sense of responsibility and determination to secure his family’s future.
