Various unusual and bizarre news stories go viral on the internet every day. Recently, one similar incident has garnered attention. A youth from Sangrampur block, located in Amethi tehsil of Sultanpur district in Uttar Pradesh, tried to wake up the administration of his area from its deep slumber by doing a unique demonstration. For a year, a young man from Punnpur village in Sangrampur block demanded that his tap be rebored.
But despite all efforts and following all official protocols, the tap was not rebored. Tired of the everyday efforts, the youth took such a decision that he became the talk of the town in Amethi. Even the Block Development Officer’s office was in a state of panic. Let’s take a look at the entire incident.
According to reports, this whole matter took place in Punnapur village in Sangrampur block. Satyam Kumar, a resident, arrived in the Sangrampur Block. He reached there with a bucket, a mug and his clothes. He used the tap near the BDO office and started bathing in front of the block and after that, he also washed his clothes there.
In a recent media interaction, Satyam alleges that although every month there is a Samadhan Diwas at the block, no solution is found for every problem. For the last year, he has been demanding the reboring of the tap more than fifty times, despite which the BDO and the village secretary have been giving only assurances.
He also said that the village secretary even uses abusive language when complaining. Due the tap not being rebored, people in many houses are facing problems with water. So, to bring the issue in front of everyone, he has taken this drastic step.
The young man further added that from now on he will bring a bucket from home every day and bathe like this in front of the office until his problem is solved. He also alleged that fake tap reboring is being done on paper, but where it is needed, people have been struggling. No single step has been taken till now.
Seeing the whole scenario, Sangrampur BDO said that after investigation, the tap will be rebored soon.
