Hulk Hogan endorses Trump at RNC, invoking 'Trump-a-mania' in a passionate speech, likening their alliance to pro wrestling tag teams

Legendary US wrestler Hulk Hogan delivered a fervent endorsement of Donald Trump at the Republican National Convention in Milwaukee on Thursday (local time), invoking themes reminiscent of his pro wrestling days.

The WWE Hall of Famer, known for his persona as “Hulkamania,” described Trump as his hero and touted their alliance for the upcoming 2024 presidential campaign alongside running mate JD Vance.

Addressing a cheering crowd, Hogan passionately proclaimed, “Let Trump-a-mania run wild, brother. Let Trump-a-mania make America great again!” He compared their partnership to iconic wrestling tag teams, drawing parallels to his legendary pairing with the late Randy Savage.

The 70-year-old Hogan, whose real name is Terry Bollea, said that Trump and his supporters, whom he referred to as “Trump-ites,” would steer America back on course. He closed his speech with a rhetorical challenge to political opponents: “Whatcha gonna do when Donald Trump and all the Trump-a-maniacs run wild on you, brother?”

Beyond his wrestling career spanning five decades, Hogan has appeared in films such as “Rocky III” and TV shows like “Thunder in Paradise.” According to Fox News, his life has not been without controversy, including a notable legal battle with Gawker over a leaked sex tape and a temporary expulsion from the WWE Hall of Fame due to racially insensitive remarks.

Despite these challenges, Hogan remains a prominent figure in both pop culture and political circles, endorsing Trump as a candidate poised to restore what he sees as America’s greatness.
